Our ‘Public Speaking’ competitions help members to gain confidence at presenting and talking to large audiences and groups of people. The competitions help members improve debating skills as they voice their opinions and speak confidently.

Winners from the various competitions have the opportunity of going forward to represent Radnor at Wales and National levels.

The number of public speaking competitions is rather large so here in Radnor we hold 2 days and 1 evening of the competitions. These can include Junior Reading, Junior Public Speaking, Junior & Senior Member of the Year, Situations Vacant, The Brainstrust competition, Call my Bluff, On the News, Just a Minute, Senior After Dinner Speaking and Senior Debating.
