Radnor YFC

Young Farmers Clubs are open to all young people, whether from an agricultural background or not. Our clubs are for young people aged between 10-28 years. This year the county celebrates it’s 80th Anniversary. So take a look at our events calendar to see what special events we have coming up to celebrate this milestone.

There's a massive range of activities to take part in, ranging from: drama, sport, public speaking, stock judging, training, quizzes plus a huge amount of socialising, there really is something for everyone.

What is YFC?

YFC stands for Young Farmers Club. Young Farmers is a friendly, self motivated group of young people who are aged between 10-28. We are the largest voluntary youth organisation in the country, operating in rural areas.

About Radnor YFC

Young Farmers Clubs are at the heart of our rural communities throughout Radnorshire. Radnor YFC have up to 450 members across its 13 clubs.

Each club has its own club programme set out for the YFC year. The programme will include county events and competitions as well as club activities such as fun trips which can include anything from bowling, ice skating and go karting to more educational trips and demonstrations which could include: agricultural farm visits, first aid nights and demonstrations from butchery to flower arranging. Clubs are organised and financed by members themselves, and members are encouraged to play an active role in arranging these activities.
